Sailing stone or also known as sliding rocks, moving rocks, or rolling stone is a natural phenomenon where the stones are moves by itself without human or animal moving it. This natural phenomenon happened in race track playa , death valley, America.

This natural phenomenon first to be seen in 1948 in the death valley america.In the 1968 the scientist try to figuring out what is really happened. This stone can moves to different direction, like straight, zig-zag and make a half circle.The trace of this moving stone can be 2,5 cm and about 2 meter long.This trace can be seen for about 3 to 4 years. And this stone can moves once in 2 or three years.Some people say that this stone is moved by the alien.

the death valley it self actually is a lake that when it is summer the surface can be hard and dry. and when it is rainy or winter the surface can be soft and wet.

according to some scientist that has done some research to these stone. What really happened is this stone can moves by it self because of when it is winter and there is a thin layer of ice and the thin layer of ice is melted by the sun, and there is also wind blowing the stone will be move by the wind and the melted ice.
